Daniel Rodrigo Cid Vera:

Studio director  Daniel Cid, moved to Murcia, Spain in 2005 from his hometown of Santiago, Chile. Two years later he fell in love with Salsa dancing and began his career at the dance school Murcia Fusion. In 2008 he joined Adrián y Anita Amateur Dance Company in Barcelona, directed by five-time World Champions of salsa Adrian Rodríguez Carbajal and Anita Santos Rubín. During this time he also danced with several other companies: 
 • Calle Real in 2009, directed by Jorge Camaguey, a company known for Cuban Timba and AfroCuban 
 • Cachanga Poderosa in 2011, directed by Franco Rocha, a group specializing in men’s salsa styling. 
   Some of Daniel’s accomplishments include:
 • In 2009, he placed 1st and 2nd in Barcelona dancing with his partner Jessica G.
 • In 2010, he won 1st and 4th place with Adrian y Anita Amateur Dance Company competed at “Amigos por la Salsa” in Malaga, Spain. 
• And in 2011, Adrian y Anita Amateur Dance Company returned to compete in Malaga, winning 1st and 3rd place. 
Daniel has danced all over Europe in Burgos, Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Barcelona, Gandia, Tarragona, and Perello, to name a few and danced with some of the world{s biggest names in Salsa such as Jhonny Vasquez, Juan Matos, Adolfo Indacochea, Francisco Vasquez, Ramon Morales, Luis Vasquez, Eddie Torres, Fernando Sosa (Tropical Gem), Maykel Font, and Swing guys. Now Daniel has founded Colorado New Style Dance Studio, bringing his world class experience and fresh approach to salsa dancing to the state of Colorado.

Kathryn D. Warshaw:

Kathryn, also known as KD, started gymnastics at the age of 3 and did competitive gymnastics from age 8 to age 18. In 2006, she began coaching the sport along with competing and has continued coaching ages 3-16 to this day. She started social salsa dancing for in 2009, and at the end of 2011 started performing at different congresses. KD has also competed at the World Latin Dance Cup in Miami twice, and most recently took Gabriela Gonzalez to the World Salsa Summit where she won 3rd place in the 9 year old soloist division. Most recently she dances on and direct all the World Team Project teams. She is in charge of conditioning exercises to help the ladies on the team improve their technique. KD has taken master classes, workshops, and privates from some big names in salsa, such as Anita Santos Rubin, Griselle Ponce, Karel Flores, Eddie Torres, Eddie Torres Jr., Yamulee, and many others! As a part of Colorado New Style Dance Studio, she hopes to share her knowledge of strength, flexibility and technique with others who wish to improve their dancing, whether for competitive purposes or personal goals.

Elena Kramda:

Elena started her dance training with Christina Noel at the Arvada Center. She later earned a BFA in dance from the Conservatory of Music and Dance at UMKC. There she studied under and performed in pieces by Jennifer Medina, DeeAnna Hiett, Rodni Williams, Sabrina Madison-Cannon, Paula Weber, and Mary Pat Henry, among others. She attended programs at The Ailey School, Jennifer Medina’s Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company, Cleo Parker Robinson, and Kim Robards, performing in showcases and attending some of these on scholarship. Elena then went on to study Graham with the esteemed Franca Telesio. Elena currently performs with Park Hill Dance Collective, Amanda V’s Material Girl, DAM Entertainment, and the ladies’ shines salsa performance teams at Colorado New Style: Divinas, and Anita’s Ladies, of the renowned World Champion Anita Santos Rubin, performing and competing around the Denver area, nationally, and in international competition throughout the US. Elena has also previously performed and choreographed for other dance ensembles and notable performing artists such as Legacy Dance Ensemble as a soloist, Blue Moon Dance Company, Emmy award-winning Melissa Ivey’s Speed of Life, international artist Nick Cave’s Heard*DAM, Flash Mob America as a dance lead, and Ten Honies, in addition to other choreographers and clients.
Elena believes in the value of the performing arts from both an artistic and educational standpoint. She earned an elementary teaching license from the State of Colorado through the University of Colorado Denver. As such, Elena believes dance education should be accessible, shared, and enjoyed by all. She hopes to use dance and choreography as a tool to build self-esteem and create a positive self-image for growing dancers, especially those who come from difficult backgrounds. Elena has taught in a variety of
dance programs in the US, and abroad in Abu Dhabi (UAE). She is currently at Airborne Gymnastics and Dance, the Dance Academy at The Arvada Center, and Colorado New Style.
